I’m a stand-up comic, former/sometimes actor and have written a handful of plays that have been produced in Manhattan, including this one, of which I’m especially proud. I have a dayjob, for which I’m extremely grateful, that allows me to pursue (and often fund) these endeavors. I mention this to give you a full picture. Often people call themselves things without admitting that they don’t do these things ALL THE TIME. There is no shame in that and I don’t mind admitting it. Thank you, comedy and thank you, dayjob.
I should start by saying that BabyBy40 does not suggest a life goal of mine; however, my husband and I knew that we wouldn’t have as much time to start a family as couples who married at younger ages.
We got engaged, married and pregnant twice in under a year. After an early miscarriage, we had our sweet baby girl three months after our first wedding anniversary and two months shy of my 40th birthday. While I began this site with the first pregnancy, I’m currently learning to juggle my job, stand-up comedy, marriage and motherhood. I won’t always be funny but I will always keep it real. Thanks for visiting.
