I’ve been carrying my various Tupperware containers of lunches and snacks in sad old plastic grocery bags. Then I discovered, via A Cup of Jo, SoYoung’s website full of gorgeous food carriers for adults and kiddos and I promptly purchased this bad boy:
The Black Paper Lunch Poche is like an adult lunch box meets cooler bag with removable insides that can be washed and lovely positive messages and personal details throughout. Everyone cooks in my office. Going out to lunch is a rare occurrence and generally saved for new hires and extremely busy periods. It’s a nice change from the $18.00 NYC salads.
In other news, I’m considering doing a Whole30 in January; however, my macro/fitness coach suggested, given my known cheese addiction, that a dairy break might be a better first step. The Whole30 is a SERIOUS elimination diet and sounds to me like a way to healthily reset after the massive holiday eating spree.
Speaking of making more mindful food choices, I’ve discovered Snap Kitchen, which its CEO describes as the entity produced if 7-11 and Whole Foods had a baby. Delicious, nutritious grab-n-go foods at reasonable prices. I fully recommend.
No cooking this weekend as we’re preparing to move on Tuesday. Have a good one!
